SMS alert service pricing for Canadian teams, with no per-user fees
Welco's SMS alert service pricing is one monthly price for your whole team, set by the message credits your alerts use. Every plan has every feature and room for all your staff, with no overage charges or lock-in. All prices are in US dollars (USD). Customers in Canada pay in US dollars too.

Plans and prices in US dollars
Every plan has the same features. Most teams pick Standard: 1,000 credits leaves room for an ice storm or a spring thaw without a low-balance email.
All prices in US dollars (USD), including for customers in Canada.

What every plan includes
You pay for message credits, not for the size of your team. Our alert tool comparisons show how that differs from tools that charge per user.
All the staff you need
Each person joins with their own cellphone and replies YES before any alerts start.
Every feature
Alert rules, after-hours routing, flood control, delivery reports and the rest of the Welco features.
10 dashboard logins
For the people who set up rules and check delivery reports.
Canadian mobiles included
Alert texts to mobile numbers in Canada, the US, the UK and the Netherlands, all billed in US dollars.
Change plans any time
Move up or down a plan yourself when your alert volume changes. No call and no new contract.
Carrier rules handled
The
Welco:label and STOP line on every text, opt-in for every phone and a blocked-words check. See carrier compliance.
How many message credits does my team need
Take your alerts a day, multiply by the phones that get each one, then by 30. A short alert uses 1 credit per phone, so that is your monthly count. The credit counting rules cover long alerts and special characters.
Examples at 1 credit per alert per phone. Trim rules keep most alerts to 1 credit, and return-to-normal emails you drop use none.

Running low on credits? No surprises
Here is a busy month on the Standard plan, the kind a long cold snap can bring. We warn the account admin early, and we never charge for extra texts on our own.
80% used: the first heads-up
The admin gets an email with a link to add a credit pack or change plans.
Low balance: 800 of your 1,000 monthly credits used.90% used: a second reminder
Low balance: 900 of 1,000 credits used.95% used: last call
Low balance: 950 of 1,000 credits used.100% used: your credit pack takes over
A credit pack is like the spare tire in your trunk. If you keep one, alerts carry on and draw from the pack.
No pack? Alerts pause, and nothing is charged
We email the admin again. Add a pack or move up a plan, and alerts start again right away.
Days are an example. Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing month.
Add-ons for busy months
Keep a credit pack on the account as your spare tire, and alerts keep going when the month's credits run out. Packs never expire.
500-credit pack, US$40
Used only once the month's credits run out, so a busy month never stops your alerts.
1,000-credit pack, US$70
For a storm, a power outage or a new site that adds a lot of alerts at once.
Dedicated alert number, US$45 a year
A number only your company uses, so staff can save it as your alarm line.
Extra dashboard login, US$5 a month
For teams where more than 10 people need to sign in.
How the 7-day free trial works
Try Welco with your own alerts for 7 days, with 15 message credits included. A card check keeps out the fake accounts scammers set up, so the numbers your alerts use stay trusted.
Card required for verification
We check a card when you sign up, along with your business details and a short intro call. That is how we stop fake sign-ups.
No charge for 7 days
Send real alerts from your own system. The trial includes 15 message credits.
Email reminder before billing
Before the trial ends, we email you so nothing is billed by surprise.
You approve, then we charge
Your card is charged only after you approve a plan. If you don't approve one, you aren't billed.
